Frequently Asked Questions
There are a variety of questions that I receive frequently, and I have compiled a list of them along with a reference to the books and materials that will be the most helpful in answering these questions. You can download each of these books freely at this website. Remember also that in every PDF document there is a SEARCH FEATURE that allows you to search for special subjects of interest to you and the feature will find every incidence of that subject for you in the book. There are a lot of resources available to you through search alone.
Due to the sheer volume of questions and e-mails I receive, I ask you to look through these FAQ's thoroughly and utilize the resources on the site to answer your questions as much as is possible. Prayer Requests are always welcome! We really appreciate your understanding.
1.) I cannot find the FREE downloads, where are they? If you wish to download a book, CLICK ON THE COVER OF THE BOOK AT THE HOME PAGE. It will take you to the BOOKS MAIN PAGE. Right BELOW the COVER, AUDIO BOOK BANNER FOR THOSE BOOKS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE IN AUDIO, REGISTER TO DOWNLOAD LINK, SHARE AND DONATE BUTTONS, are the FREE PDF DOWNLOADS to the book.
The Mystic Knowledge Series is an exception in that the PDF DOWNLOAD is located BELOW the PICTURE, AMAZON LINK and to the LEFT of the COVER PICTURE of each book, right BELOW the REGISTER TO DOWNLOAD Link.
If you wish to make it simpler, and be able to download ALL THE BOOKS on one page - go to Free E-Books/Music/Art then Click on Free E-Books. Same with the music and art, Free Music, Free Art.
2.) How do I become a Member of the Out-of-Body Travel Foundation and subscribe to the mailing list? How do I join the discussion group? Become a member and subscribe by going to REGISTRATION TO DOWNLOAD FREE. To join our discussion group, please click on 'Forum' on the Menu Tab.
3.) I’m getting too many e-mails from the Out-of-Body Travel Foundation. Can you tell me why and what to do about it?How do I UNSUBSCRIBE? Go to http://outofbodytravel.ning.com, log into your REGISTRATION TO DOWNLOAD and make sure you have set your e-mail settings. If you do not set them, you will automatically receive e-mails whenever any activity occurs on the group; new members, postings on any group, forum or blog, etc. The way to remedy this is to click on the ‘Settings’ button on the right hand side of your page. Then click on ‘E-Mail’ which will be to your left. To receive our updates, choose 'A message from 'The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation.' These generally go out several times a month depending on how much new information becomes available on the website. You can also choose to receive messages sent directly to you so you can receive personal messages from others in the group or set it to receive friend requests. To listen or participate in our discussion group, click on Forum on the above tabs. If you wish to receive NO e-mail and check in as you choose, you can select ‘I don't want to receive e-mails from the Out-of-Body Travel Foundation' at the bottom of the ‘E-Mail’ page. This should take care of your problem. If you wish to leave the group altogether, click on the ‘Settings’ on the right hand side of your page. Then click on ‘Profile,’ there is an option at the bottom of that page to leave the group. It should say 'Leave the Out-of-Body Travel Foundation.'
4.) Do you have any of your books available in digital format for those who are visually impaired? Many of our books are available as read by Marilynn Hughes (Author) in Audio CD's or downloadable MP3 Digital File Format. Check for the books which are available for purchase at http://outofbodytravel.org/orderinginformation/audiobookoptions.html.
Several other options are available, however, all of which are entirely free.
Read-Aloud Option for the Visually Impaired: Go into your Adobe E-Book, Click 'View' on the Toolbar, Click 'Read Out Loud', Choose 'Read This Page Only' or 'Read to the End of Document'
All of our books are now available through Kindle which has a text to audio option at no additional cost. You may also download a FREE PROGRAM called NATURAL READER at http://www.naturalreaders.com/download.htm which will allow you to have any of our FREE E-BOOKS read to you on your computer, IPOD or iPhone. After you download this program, you may copy and paste ANY or ALL of our E-Books into the Reader and it will read it aloud to you. You can save each individual AUDIO BOOK to your computer or device and the program. It will save one or many books, it will bookmark the place it leaves off in each book as it is read to you if you'd like it to and it can also jump forward or backward to any point in the book that you would like to read. It's a very user friendly device.
If you still wish to have CD's or MP3 files, you can PURCHASE the UPGRADED version of the Natural Reader and you can make your own MP3 files or CD's OF ALL OF OUR FREE E-BOOKS to use in your car, planes, while traveling, etc.
Instructions are simple. Download the reader compatible with either Windows or Mac, depending on what you have. (Click 'From Main Site' under either Windows or Mac, allow the file download and Click on RUN when the dialogue box appears on your screen.) Take any of the FREE DOWNLOADED PDF's or WORD DOCUMENTS you have from our website. Open the document and click on 'Edit' and 'Copy File to Clipboard.' Now open your FREE NATURAL READER, Click on 'NEW' (In the Upper Left Hand Corner) and Click on PASTE. The entire book will copy in your Natural Reader. Scroll UP to the BEGINNING OF THE DOCUMENT in your Natural Reader Window. (You can also just click on CONTROL and HOME to return to the top of the text.) You may wish to delete any code that might appear at the beginning of the text due to unique fonts in titles, etc., and remove the preliminary parts of the book. Set it to begin reading at the Introduction. Then click on the PLAY BUTTON to your left which is simply a forward arrow key. The book will be READ OUT LOUD to you. It's that simple.

6.) How can I prepare to have an Out-of-Body Experience and what should I expect when it happens? Please download 'Come to Wisdom's Door: How to Have an Out-of-Body Experience'. This book is a very easy read and explains everything about how to prepare, what to expect, obstacles you may need to overcome and the actual mechanics of the experience.
7.) You have so many books, where should I begin? Absolutely begin by downloading 'Come to Wisdom's Door: How to Have an Out-of-Body Experience' and 'The Mysteries of the Redemption: A Treatise on Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism.' Come to Wisdom's Door is a very quick read, and it prepares you a great deal for the lengthy journey to come in 'The Mysteries of the Redemption. You'll find that 'Mysteries' goes into a great deal of detail about many, many spiritual subjects. After that, follow the 'Wondering Where to Begin' instructions at the beginning of each category of the home page.
8.) But what if I just need to know about one particular subject area? Please go to 'The Mystic Knowledge Series.' There are individual volumes covering these subjects: Out-of-Body Travel, Ghosts and Lost Souls, Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels, Reincarnation and Karma, Spiritual Warfare, Angels and Demons, Death, Dying and the Afterlife, Heaven, Hell and Purgatory, ExtraTerrestrials, Destiny and Prophecy, Initiations into the Mysteries, Visions of Jesus and the Saints, Ascension, Suffering and Sickness, Mystical Poetry.
